I grew up in the vibrant arts community of Saugatuck / Douglas and attended Saugatuck Public High School, where art education was a central focus. By my senior year, I was fully immersed in my passion, taking four art classes daily to develop a strong portfolio. I went on to earn a degree in Interior Architecture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, an experience that profoundly deepened my love for design.
Following graduation, I spent 17 rewarding years designing residential interiors in Chicago. After starting a family, we returned to Saugatuck, where I launched my own design practice. It’s truly a joy to work in the community where I grew up—reconnecting with longtime clients and welcoming new neighbors. With its rich arts culture and diverse community, Saugatuck and Douglas provide the perfect backdrop for me to pursue my design dreams.
